The starting line

So my husband's company says they want him in Prague on July 1. I finish teaching for the summer on June 24. That would give me exactly one week breathing room.

And before then we need to

• keep up with my classes and tie up loose ends at work 
• figure out what's happening with our house
• get visas
• find an apartment overseas
• decide what to ship along and what to purge/put in storage
• get a "pet passport" for our dog
• figure out the situation with regards to banking, billing, mobile plans, etc
• learn some Czech
• get our cars tuned up for the family who'll be using them over the next year

and the list keeps extending. Not that any of this could have been sorted out in the past 3-4 months of waiting!

Time to hit the ground running...
